How It Works

ROUND0 automates the interview process through four simple steps:

1. Create a Job Description

Upload or create a job description for the position you're hiring for. Our AI analyzes the job requirements and automatically generates relevant interview questions across five categories:

• Behavioral questions - Understand how candidates handle real-world situations
• Technical questions - Explore domain-specific knowledge and skills
• Situational questions - Examine problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience questions - Discover relevant past work experience
• Role-specific questions - Address unique aspects of your position

2. Set Up an Interview

Select a candidate and customize the interview:

• Choose which questions to include or exclude
• Add custom questions with specific time limits
• Calculate estimated credit usage

Each interview gets a unique link with a configurable expiration period.

3. Candidate Takes the Interview

Share the interview link with your candidate. They'll:

• Answer questions via voice responses
• Get timed for each question (default: 3 minutes per question)
• Have a natural conversation with an AI interviewer
• Experience your custom branding (if configured)

4. Review Results

Once the interview completes, you'll receive:

• Complete transcripts of all responses
• Full interview recordings
• Webhook notifications (if configured)

Core Concepts

Credits

ROUND0 uses a time-based credit system where 1 credit = 15 minutes of interview time. Credits are:

• Consumed when an interview starts (status changes to 'in_progress')
• Calculated based on total question time limits
• Valid for 3 months from purchase
• Available in bundles for cost savings

Trials

New users receive 1 free credit (valid for 14 days) to test the platform. Trial users have some limitations:

• Cannot use voice cloning
• Cannot upload company documents
• Cannot add custom branding
• Cannot access the API
